While flipping through a magazine I saw a wooden Frank Lloyd Wright lamp that was supposed to let light shine through, it didn't really seem to. So after thinking about it for a little while I had a rough plan in my head and tried to make a lamp of my own. It worked, and Six years later I have many different styles and sizes to choose from. The shades on my lamps contain sheets of wood that have been sanded down to about 1/16th of an inch. Depending on the wood used, when the lamp is on it gives off beautiful pink, red and auburn glowing light. An almost tanslucent look at the wood. They really stand out when other lights are down low.
